Dutch Flower Braid & Colorful Nails

My sister has recently gotten into doing some seriously awesome braids on my curly red-headed niece's hair.

This was her first try at the "Dutch Flower Braid".

She actually did this braid the night before and my niece slept on it and I did these pics the next day when the red-head was hanging out at my house.

The braid curls around into a circle at the end.  My niece didn't have enough hair to circle around into the flower like it's supposed to so I put one of my "Inspired By Felicity" satin flower & lace clips on the "flower" spot of the braid.

She learned how to do this braid by following this tutorial video:

The only thing she did different was while doing the braid she stopped now and then and pulled it outward a little to loosen the braid and make it wider.

While we are talking about hair I also wanted to show this new picture of Felicity modeling our couture zebra print & pink feather headband.

Oh, and do you want to see something super cute?

Well, Felicity's "Big Girl" cousins wanted to paint her toes this week.  Here is their creative paint job...

I was really surprised because Felicity will hardly ever sit still for me to do her nails but when her little cousins were doing it she sat there still as could be while they did every little nail!

  1. It's a great look. So fun when the girls have reasons to do up their hair. The flowers are a sweet touch that make the whole look unique!
