Last weekend Felicity hosted an Easter Tea Party for her cousins!

As with any party I do I worked hard to keep the cost to a minimum by making and borrowing everything I could - here's how we put it all together....
The table cloth is actually a curtain from my bedroom.
The topiary on the table was made from coffee filters. Click Here to see my instructions on how to make it.
I made the wreath hanging on the window a couple weeks ago, it is so simple that even someone without any craftiness could do it. Click Here to see my directions on how to make it.
The balls hanging from the ceiling were also made with coffee filters. They are really easy to do but they are a bit time consuming. Click Here to see my posts on the 4 different ways I make them.
I used bunny templates to make the bunnies as seen on the Tiffany lamp in the corner of the room (pictured above) and in the frame below on the food table. You can do a google search for "bunny template" or whatever kind of template you need for a project like this and find all kinds of free printables.
The candle holders all came from Goodwill. The fresh flowers and greenery all came from my yard (except for some that I picked from a ditch on the side of the highway) and the fake flowers in a few places were made from coffee filters (can you tell I've really been in love with coffee filters lately!) That stemmed glass holding sugar cubes is a real crystal antique glass I found at Goodwill for just 25 cents!
My baby girl, being a prissy little lady had to inspect everything before her guests arrived, including the little tea station. We did a few different kinds of tea, but the girl's favorites were the fruity versions.
We had these little bitty cups and saucers that I used as lemon and sugar cube holders for each place setting. In keeping with the tradition of old fashion fancy tea parties the girls all brought their own tea cups and saucers with them to the party.
Watching all the little girls prancing into the house carrying their fancy tea cups and saucers in their cute containers my sister-in-law found was pretty darn cute!
I have a red accent wall in my dinning room which didn't really go with the Easter colors so I used thumb tacs to hang some lace curtains over it to tone down the red.
At the end of the party we melted down the chocolate bunny and made him into fondue!
As I learned from the girls Valentine's Day party, one of the things they thought was really "fancy" was having assigned seating. So I did assigned seating again by putting each girls initials on a boiled egg on their plate.
For party favors each girls got a plastic glitter "egg puppet". They thought they were pretty cool. Every puppet had a different face. I got the printouts to wrap around the glitter eggs free from "A Fanciful Twist". She offers some of the cutest little printables sometimes for different holidays. On her blog you can also find some of the cutest videos of her dogs, which Felicity loves to watch.
Felicity tried to steal one of her cousin's boiled eggs before they got there but her attempt to bite through the shell was unsuccessful....
I have decided the sign of a fun party is a big mess!
So now that we have this party over with it's time to start planning for Felicity's "2" birthday party next month. I have a fun theme picked out that really incorporates her favorite things, so hopefully I can find time to get it together!
Now I'm off to clean out our closet. We have some pretty serious weather headed to Oklahoma today/tonight and have chances of baseball size hail, high damaging winds and isolated tornadoes! The Spring is not a good time to be an Oklahoman.... unfortunately we don't have a cellar or storm shelter, so our safe haven is a small interior closet which is currently filled with junk so it's time to go empty it out and pull down our "Tornado Helmets" (our old motorcycle helmets) and get ready to deal with what Mother Nature brings.
