My $35 Consignment Store Side Table

A little while back my Nanny, Felicity and I were in a consignment store when I found this awesome cream colored night stand which I bought for just $35 and am using as a side table in our living room.  It's a really high quality chest, the guy that helped us carry it out of the store couldn't believe how heavy and solid it was!

The only problem was the table was missing knobs on the top drawer so I found these adorable "crown" knobs at Hobby Lobby that were 50% off, making them just $2.50 each!  So all in all the table costs $40.

When I first got home with it I didn't have time to clean it up and decorate it so I just threw some stuff on it and it sat there for a while until I recently got the chance to spruce it up.
We had a good storm that knocked some loose twiggy branches out of a tree in our yard so Felicity and I gathered up a bunch of sticks.....

We put the sticks in the white pitcher with some green moss I had leftover from another project.  Under that  we put a white fur I found at Hobby Lobby for $10.
The bride and groom figurine (which was a gift from my sister-in-law) stayed where it was and I added the turquoise "Cypress" cup that we've been keeping filled with Spring flowers from the yard.

I love the way this corner looks now!

Also, here is what Felicity got for Easter at our house.....  as well as some jewelry that isn't pictured:
all purchased through Zulily.

She has more toys than any child could possibly need and I knew she would get more than enough candy in Easter eggs and from her grandparents, so we just stuck with clothes, shoes and jewelry, which she loves anyway.  She ewws and awwws over pretty clothes and shoes and is obsessed with jewelry already!
