My husband loves Cheesecake so for Valentine's Day I wanted to have strawberry cheesecake for him when he got home from work. I have used a couple different recipes for cheesecake and didn't totally love either of them. So this time I changed it up a bit and kind of combined the two recipes and we loved the results.
{ INGREDIENTS }
Store Bought Graham Cracker Crust (yes, I cheat & use store bought crust!)
Cream Cheese - 1 package
Sour Cream - 1 small container
Vanilla Extract - 1/2 Tablespoon
Whipped Cream - 4 Ounces (buy the 8 oz container and use half - if you want it really big and fluffy use the whole thing)
1/4 Cup of Sugar
Strawberry Pie Filling - 1 Jar
Have you noticed I really love my Fiestaware - think this is my 3rd post in the last couple weeks that has included it...
{ DIRECTIONS }
Blend softened Cream Cheese & Sugar. Then blend in Sour Cream & Vanilla Extract. Then Fold in Whipped Cream. Spread into crust and put in refrigerator until set. Serve with Strawberry Pie Filling on top.
Also had to share this in case there's anyone out there that hasn't seen it yet- this is so me anytime I try to put icing on anything!
