Christmas Decorating

I'm trying to get my game-plan together for my Christmas decor at my house and getting tablescape ideas for a local Christmas banquet I'm coordinating.  I was looking online for some inspiration and wanted to share some of the wonderful things I found.

I like this fun card display idea from BHG.

I will deffinitely be making some of these Christmas trees / Tomato cages wrapped in Christmas lights to put on my front porch.

I plan on doing something similiar to this Bower Power Blog idea of hanging ornaments from your dinning room light.  I'll probably use some colorful funky ornaments though.

If I have enough time I would like to make some of these ornaments featured on Flea Market Style.  I will probably use sheet music though.

For the Christmas banquet I'm thinking about using a collection of mason jars and different sized vases on the tables and doing something like this idea from BHG.

Last I have to add this picture of my little Felicity making silly faces last year at Christmas.  She was only 6 months old last year at Christmas - it seems like it was just yesturday, once you become a parent it's like time just goes in fast-forward!

Coming Up: Tomorrow is my new "Food Friday" and Saturday is "Home Showcase Saturday"

  1. You've chosen some wonderful ideas. I love decorating with dark barn red and olive green. I think I will make some of those mason jars myself. Felicity is beautiful! Her little funny face makes me chuckle.

  2. Hi Pamila,

Thanks for stopping by Annsliee-blogs! Your Christmas ideas are lovely and so financially doable! I'm already playing my favorite Christmas music and now think I might as well start adding the little touches, like a mason jar candle in the kitchen.

  3. Oh, forgot to ask: How are the mason jar candles made?
