Just made a new fun table centerpiece for Spring I thought I would share.
It started with me playing around with some new antique mason jars I just bought and I thought it would be cute to put moss in them and use it as a candle holder and then it grew from there.
The cake plate holds the jar and birdcage which is filled with green moss and topped with my peacock from Hobby Lobby. I filled my other mason jar with lace and a silk flower. The cake plate is sitting on a soft pink glass tray with moss and a couple fake pears on it.
The little colored vases came from Goodwill and I filled them with some coffee filter flowers. Click Here to go to my post on how to dye coffee filters and make flowers.
I also got the pears really cheap at a consignment / thrift store.
I just put out my lace tablecloth for Spring. Check back on Saturday for a tour of all my Spring stuff in my home.
Also, check this out - Felicity's hair is long enough to french braid.
I didn't do it because I don't know how. My sister braided it when she was over a few nights ago. Now that her hair is getting longer I'm going to have to learn to do all this stuff. Fixing hair has never really been my thing, which is ironic since I make hair accessories (shameless plug: www.InspiredByFelicity.com) It makes me kind of sad that her hair is long enough to braid because it's a reminder she's turning into a big girl and not my little baby anymore.
I'm linking this post up at some great blogs. Click Here to see who they are and go visit them!
Wow, that centerpiece is amazing, I absolutely love it! Felicity's hair is getting long! If you ever want someone to style it I'd be happy to, you know I love playing with hair, lol.

Beautiful centerpiece, but how couldn't it be with a peacock in the lead. Felicity's hair looks so pretty. I remember when my Momma would play with mine. Thanks for sharing your creative inspiration at Sunday's Best.

I love everything peacock!!! The colors are always so awe-inspiring! I've heard of the coffee filter flowers, but I think this is the first time I've seen one in person. I applaud your patience in putting that one together!!! Visiting from BNOTP. Have a great weekend, and good luck learning to braid your daughter's hair!
